Vine Ion acasa de la oras si zice catre Maria, hotarat:
- Marie, stinge lumina, trage perdelele si în pat iute.
- Ma Ioane, da' mai am de lucru.
- Dac-am zis, am zis!
Vede Maria ca n-are încotro, se conformeaza. Se pune si Ion în pat, trage plapuma peste ei si zice:
- No, acum Marie, sa-ti arat ce ceas cu fosfor mi-am cumparat
